Budget Apps

Account Tracker

I like keeping a budget because it keeps me grounded and out of debt. It has taken me a very long time to find an app that meets my needs.
Account Tracker does a satisfactory job in keeping track of things. I suggest you test several free apps under the budget category before purchasing one. I was "stung" a couple of times. If I'm still using it next month, I'll change my rating.

My Recipe Book App

I love collecting recipes. There was a time when I couldn't resist buying a cookbook or recipe magazine. Times have changed! With my iPad and this app, I'm connected to thousands of recipes. This app has some really great features. It has a portal that allows you to search for recipes from the most popular recipe sites. When you find a recipe you want to try, you can import it directly into the app. You can also add your own recipes. There are several other great features that make this one of the best cookbooks apps around.

Calorie Counter iPad App

Calorie Counter By Fat secret

I love this app. It's the perfect program to use when it's time to go on a diet. It has it all! A daily diet and exercise diary are easy to use and really help in monitoring your progress. It has a search engine for finding number of calories for groceries and fast food. You can even input a bar code of an item to find calorie counts. I've been using it for a week and have lost a couple of pounds.

Time Out

I'm taking the month of January off from paper crafting. All my design team commitments are completed. I really enjoyed being a part of several wonderful teams last year. I've made some great friendships, and it's been so much fun having cyber conversations with them. If I'm not crafting, what have I been doing?? My energy is going to pushing my iPad to the max. I've been searching for apps that are useful for my lifestyle. Instead of having a daily card, I'll review some of the programs I've discovered.

Review #1 BlogPress for iPad

This app is great for creating entries when one is away from a computer. It's easy to use and adding pictures is a snap. It doesn't have a lot a bells and whistles like changing fonts and linking. It's the app i'l be using for my entries for the rest of the month.
